manifolds that work with holset hx35 hx40

Im pretty sure thats the same manifold I have just with a different wastegate flange welded on and painted. Also looks like the tubes to head flange have all been re-welded. I only see a small brace and at a bad angle, you may consider adding another or removing it and welding in a 2" wide 3/16" or 1/4" thick plate between the flanges for extra support.
 
Kyle, you probably already know this but ill say it aloud just so others that are reading along might learn somethin. On 2G cars, you order the wrong radiator on purpose. Yep, you heard right. On a 2G car, when you order a nice after market radiator, order a 1G. The mounting pegs gotta be cut off and re-welded about a inch further out, but the point of this operation is to make the upper radiator hose plug into the SIDE of radiator, not the MIDDLE. Stupid 2G radiators place the upper water hose right in the middle so its inches away from the turbo header and all the hottness. FAIL. Get a 1G radiator and go through the little extra effort to move the pegs, this will make your upper hose away from the hotness. And yes, the actual size and shape is the exact same, all you gotta do is move the mounting pegs.

1G radiators are the best simpilly because of where the upper hose is placed. 1G radiator in 2G car all the way guys

Or you could use a Spyder 4g64 radiator and save yourself all the modification.

And why wouldnt you use the bep .70?

Didn't see this until now, but at the time i posted this i had a 2g koyo rad already before i ordered the manifold.

Since then i ruined that rad by putting a tbolt right through the fins when i was removing the turbo, ive been running a stock one for now but i have ordered a half rad to fix every issue with space I'll have while doing my aide exit exhaust.
 
I like my friend johns set up 98gst set up, hes running the fp manifold and ill keep mine too, not sure if will go the route of the bep though..
 
just thinking about something other than the bep I see everyone using, trying maximize the performance of my set up.

Are you talking about a bolt on or t3?

I have the bep bolt on with dnp manifold. The fit is fine but I would buy a turbosmart wastegate if I could to do it again. I have the tial 44 mvr and I had to grind a lot off my ps pump to fit it.
 
I have read thru this thread and come to the conclusion that the FP and DNP, stock location\flange, can be used with a bep 55 housing and the turbo will mate to the O2 fine and have room for fans.

I have a slim passenger fan and stock driver side fan. I dont mind replacing the stock fan for a slim one.

I would prefer to go bep t3 but most T3 manifolds have the wastegate off the manifold and that will not work with my MAP recirculated wastegate off the O2. What T3 single scroll manifold places the turbo in the stock location?

I've noticed that the ports on a 4g64 OBX tuner manifold are smaller than 1G. Is there a problem with that?

Does anyone have experience running the hy35 on any manifold besides what was once turbonetics and is now treadstone / godspeed?

I am planning on doing a hy35 build on a 5 speed 2.3 stroker on e85 going for 500-600 hp and hoping for crazy spool. Id prefer to get a manifold that doesnt require me to modify anything but would hate to buy a $1,000 manifold for it not to fit.

It looks like you just need to get a 2 degree mill on the treadstone manifold or maybe even just a bit of grinding to get them to fit but i dont need much of an excuse to buy a nice looking tubular header if it fits better.
 
Let me knownif it fitx the 52, or is this something your asking them to make changes too on their normal off the shelf version

My understanding is Redjack will make the manifold custom to whatever turbo you are using.
