I need some help please

when I get home from work I park my car in the drive way when I get in it the next day the car starts up fine but spits and sputters but when the car heats up it stops anyone know what this can be

Could be many things. Coolabt temp sensor comes to mind.

It could be your o2. I could be wrong so anyone please correct me. But the car runs off of Open loop for the first few second and then goes into closed. I could have this mixed up. I had a bad CTS and it didn't sputter.

Make that 3X on the coolant temp sensor. Had a 1g eclipse that did the same thing.

Dead give away was when it 'heats up" you said it "dies" If it cannot read it's own temperature it goes into fail safe. x4 on coolant temp sensor. Faulty sensor can cause it to "crank over" but not "run". It just starts and dies.

Yea for some reason all the ones I have ever replaced on everyones car where never changed and they just where a pain in the butt.I guess I need to hit the gym.

600 reps on a 3/8 ratchet is the only gym you really need.

1 reps using an air ratchet coming out then 5 reps going in with 1/4 drive ratchet until tight. 1/4 to 3/8 adapters work quite well. 6 reps total. =)

Coolant temp sensor is my first suggestion as everyone else said. It COULD be your O2 sensor - my car would intermittently throw a CEL for coolant temp sensor, even though the sensor was brand new. Ran a log, and it turned out my O2 wasn't cycling so the ECU was tripping thinking it was in warm open loop. Coolant sensor is much cheaper, and easier, so try that first.

use a normal ratchet with and stick a long tube and go for it thats my helping hand!
