So I've been reading everywhere and doing everything I can to try to figure out what's wrong with my car and I don't know what to do now. Basically my problem is overboost. It only happens in 2nd if I give it gas under 4k RPM and it happens in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I put my stock downpipe back on and put a open dump o2 housing on and it made no difference. I have a HKS SSQV3 bov. The problem started after I installed the bov. I'm so frustrated. I'm thinking it is my WGA because it looks like it's bent to me but I'm not sure how it's supposed to look as this is my first DSM and I don't know anyone else who has one I could compare mine to. The WGA seems to be rubbing on the turbo itself and I don't think that is normal. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong please help me. I'm getting so frustrated with this car. It makes me miss my LS1 LOL. I can provide pictures or any information on anything about my car so please ask if you think you can help with more information or pictures. I just want to get it in good running condition again. The boost shoots straight to 20psi and I hit fuel cut just about any time I give it more than 1/4 throttle unless I'm over 4k in 2nd or in 1st. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here is my current mod list.

Well the problem might be the BOV?? make sure you got your vacum connected right. i had an apexi sbov and had the overboost too. but i just got rid of it and bought a greddy one and after that the car ran fine.

No, I haven't done anything to the WGA. I'm taking it off tonight to try to bend it straight so it will quit rubbing on the tubro.

I'm positive the bov is hooked up right. From what I've read the reason it didn't overboost with the stock bov was because it just leaked out all the excess boost.

I'm thinking that maybe the reason it's only overboosting sometimes is the WGA may not be opening all the way since it's bent and it's opening just enough to let enough pressure out when it's not under a big load. That's why it's overboosting in the low rpm and the high gear but I don't know that is just my theory right now.

The hose from the actuator goes to the mbc and the other one from the mbc goes to the turbo outlet. The nipple on my stock t25. Is that what you needed? I'm sorry I'm still new to DSMs. This is my first boosted car also.

I can go pop the hood and take pics of anything right now if anyone needs to see anything.
