i need some transmission help please

Hey guys I'm in the process of my engine swap and I have a couple of tranny questions that i need to find out b4 this friday... ok does the 2.0 non turbo transmission bolt up to the 1990 gsx motor? If so can I use the 1990 flywheel? If i use a 2.0 tranny do i need to change my shift linkage cables?

i believe they are interchangeable. i do no you will need to change the flywheel. if you are putting a non turbo trans on a turbo engine you need a turbo flywheel and turbo clutch.

and just to let you know the non turbo transmissions gears are much shorter than the turbo one.


ohhh one more thing make sure your axles fit the transmission if your using diff axles.

Really? I heard opposite about the turbo clutch not fitting.. But ok thank you I will try it out
