my timing belt is on the passenger side the air intake is on the drivers. but i didnt think about his car being a turbo my bad dont shoot me.

The whole vent on the hump thing is really cool and all....But It would only be good on the 2nd gen DSMs with the 420a in it cuz thats the only engine where the intake piping goes right where the hump is.....But putting a vent there for a 420a isn't all that great of a deal or a big HP maker ....But no offense to the 420a guys...But i have heard that engine was pretty crappy...

GOOD! Im not the only one that noticed, i started thinking there was something in my coffee. UHHHH, why is it backwards? it looks all ####-eyed sitting in there.

The only benefit to having that would be extra air flow on top of the engine, nothing for induction purposes. It would only help with cooling.

Hey - just wondering if there is a carbon fiber hood out there that will fit the 1G DSM that doesn't have the drivers-side bump. I don't like the way they look. I want a carbon fiber hood like the ones for Mustangs, or like the factory hood on the new Trans Am. Is that possible?

as long as it goes as wide as that hump. the hump is there for a reason. to clear your timing cover and timing belt. if you want a flat hood get a 1.8 dsm. but then again i dont know if they make a c/f hood for those or if they use one for a 2.0
