Ok so I just bought a used GM MAf and MAFT and I noticed that the MAFT didn't have the plug that went to the GM MAF, so I went to the Junk, found the right plug, and pulled it. I do have the appropriate plug for my DSM though, but it has five wires hanging off of it, 2 of which I'm pretty sure are power and ground, and the other 3 I think are for the GM plug. My dilemma now is that I don't know which wires go to what, so if anyone could shed some light on this for me that would be great.

hey fellas im on this topic as well. i have the maft pro translator hooked up to my ecu and 3" gm maf ready to install. i dont have the adapter plug for the 1g DSM to the GM maf i figured i could just splice it in.

The Gm maf has a pink, black and yellow wire. which do these connect to on the 1g DSM MAF harness.

sorry im an idiot! couldnt find it through the search!

can someone tell me why everybody uses the GM maf and maf-t?? Whats the difference between that and a regular aftermarket one?
