Thanks for any help in advance!
I have a 1gb GSX with V3 setup but no SD and I just installed a new 3" GM MAF. Haven't gone SD yet because im looking into just getting into Haltech setup but that's another conversation for later. I still get the DTC Code 0012. As, im going through the harness I noticed a cable not connected just hanging. Its 2 short thick white wires that's under the fuse box as shown in the picture that im holding and looks like it a ground cable or something?. Can someone tell me what the cable is for and where it goes? Not sure why its even disconnect. Any help thanks.

Also what else should I be looking for to fix the DTC 0012 code. Ive read multiple articles on the search bar before posting this so again any help is much appreciated!

Did you tell Link that you are using a GM MAF and not the 1g MAF? That code is an airflow code for you maf.
As a test, you could put the original MAF back on and see if it goes away. That could help indicate where your problem lies.

It' already setup with the GM MAF before I replaced it. Little background, the car was running flawless till ecu took a poop. Car was taking to a local shop and was diagnosed needing a ecu cause of the no start. I took the car and replaced the ecu and new chip with the same tune from link. But gotten a dtc 0012 code. So thats why I replaced the MAF but code would not go away and idles and boost psi fluctuates/surges till car is warms up. That' why I looked through wiring and noticed the cables not connected.

Since I am at work I can't look up the wiring right now but that connector looked like it had been used at some time. Did you use ECMLinks GM Maf Cable?

GM MAF and MAFT: If you do NOT plan to run a GM MAF at all, then you can ignore this entire section. It is NOT required to run a GM MAF to use ECMLink. It's simply an option for those that need it.

When selecting MAF Type below, please be aware of the difference between running a GM MAF straight to the ECU using our GM MAF cable vs. running a GM MAF through a MAF translator. If you're running a MAF translator, you should select the option below specifically for GM with MAFT.

If you plan to run the GM MAF straight to the ECU without a MAFT, then you will also need one of our
GM MAF cables. This can be added below as an order option if you need it.

Speed density note: If you plan to run speed density instead of a mass airflow sensor, you'll need to select "Stock MAF" as your MAF Type below and then simply configure the ECU yourself when you get it installed in your car. Instructions on configuring speed density can be found on our SD Setup page. To keep the order form from getting any more complicated, we have chosen to leave speed density off the list because that selection requires even more information (which MAP sensor you have installed and on which ECU input, which varies depending on ECU, etc.).

Settings below: The settings below are used to provide an initial configuration in your flash module when we ship it to you. You can definitely change all these settings yourself at any time, including injector compensation and MAF type or switch to speed density, etc., etc.

Available Options:
1. ECU Type:
2. Injectors:
3. Injectors (other):
4. MAF Type:
5. GM MAF cable (if needed):
6. User ID to create for you: (user support forums)
7. Socket/conversion:

This was from ECMTuning's website.
