If they are for the same engine it should work, 4g63 or 1.8 n/t would be different, but 4g63 n/t and 4g63T should interchange, the automatic has more hoses for the transmission cooler and the turbo's have extra hoses for the coolant lines to and from the turbo, otherwise you should be ok.

As far as I know the upper and lower and heater hoses should fit. Not sure if they will fit a 1.8

I used those hose. They’re good quality but you’ll have to trim some

In my experience, most of the hoses were similar but not identical to oem. Many of the hoses like lower radiator and heater hoses did not fit. I wouldn’t buy again.

Thanks for the advice I should have specified my car is the 4g63. I guess I'll just order it and see what happens. All I NEED is the upper heater hose, but I'd like to replace as many as possible.

Some are tight so just use some wd40 or silicone spray and you should be fine. Don’t use the worm clamps that come in the kit, they’re junk. When you remove the hose off the heater core, use a razor and make a slit then peel it back. The heater hose fitting off the core is weak AF and will easily get distorted if you try pulling it off.

The heater hoses did not work for me. You should just order oem heater hoses.

I have a 2g but i ordered the same brand and the only hose i had to trim was the upper radiator hose. But other than that they fit good and are great quality imo.

Had great luck on a 2g with the Amazon Silicone hose kit. Minor trimming was needed (Appears they cut the hoses long intentionally). For the price would most definitely buy again.

You're lucky I was working on the car yesterday and unintentionally got a pic of this LOL:

So yes, the heater hoses will fit!

Also, replace as many as you can for the peace of mind. I used the amazon kit and replaced every single hose. Just have a pocket knife or something to trim a few hoses. Well worth the price btw.

I’d always be skeptical of the quality. I believe Gates makes all of the hoses you will need and the quality is there.

How can be skeptical when everyone that uses these are saying they’re good quality? It’s one thing if you've actually used these.

Maybe he means the clamps which if he did I would have to agree they are 100% not as good as the stock dsm hose clamps absent rust wear etc, and just by looking I can tell they will, over time eat into the outer section of the hose possibly causing a leak, there is a reason the oem hoses need a knife to cut them loose, aside from the age of the rubber you will note that the oem clamps apply even pressure to the hose and the pipe that it's slid over, vs the most common junk aftermarket parts house ones, which apply it to one point of the hose where the tightening screw is, however I would agree that the hoses in the kit are likely of good quality, but I would strongly suggest going with better quality clamps, or reusing your oem ones if they are still in good enough condition, I like using Oetiker hose clamps in place of any damaged oem clamps, there are many other brands that make quality clamps as well but this is the brand I plan to use.

The clamps are junk and it been stated in every post including this one. I did research these before buying them and I don’t recall bad reviews aside from the clamps. Honestly think these are better than oem but time will tell. From what I can tell, these are thicker as there are two layers and won’t be prone to expanding like typical hoses do with age.

Is there a reason that manufacturers don’t use silicone?

2020 vehicles manufacturers. Do they use silicone?

Yes but I was explaining why the clamps are junk which I feel is important not just simply saying "they are junk" and when you see pictures like the one in this vary post above using the aforementioned junk clamps on the silicone hoses you start to think maybe it needs to be explained.
Gates is an oem supplier of all sorts of hoses and they did testing on silicone hoses, not sure if silicone has gotten any better from the time of their review 2 years ago, but this was a test they did with their own silicone hoses vs epdm rubber hose

Interesting!! Since it’s only water that escapes, we’ll have to keep an eye on the coolant level and add water when needed.
