2G Coolant heater hose

Just quick question. I got a leaky heater hose and they are the only ones that are still 30 YO OEM. I would like to know if i can just buy straight slicone hoses without fitment issues?

likely but the formed hoses are dumb cheap. straight hoses will likely rub on something.
I just went and looked and I bought all 11 coolant hoses for under 70$

The 2g hoses have some weird bends in them to clear a few things, especially if the battery is still in the oem location.

Battery is in de trunk. Almost nothing is stock. I cant seem to find the 2 hoses only full kits. But no single hose of the kit will fit except the 2 heater hoses. Thats why i would love to just find the 2 hoses or use a staight one

You can buy some flexi hose which is coolant proof/use and then attach it to another area for support. If you struggle to find the other hoses thats doable.

How modified is it and what hose are you trying to replace

I’ve used the eBay hose kits on atleast 4 second gen 4g63 cars and all of the hoses fit and replace the oem hoses, turbo feed lines, oil cooler, thermostat to throttle body etc.

In my account there is a pic. Non of the hoses will fit only the heater hose. So buying the whole kit is a waste of money for me

You can use bulk 5/8 heater hose.

I’m not sure that they sell bulk braided silicon heater hoses by the roll or by the foot. I would have liked to replace all of the vacuum tubing to match the silicon hoses, but the bulk hose they sell is very stretchy non reinforced hoses that would likely fail quickly
