Reputable vendors don't always sell quality items. There's a Pep Boys on every street corner....but I've seen guys go through 3 of their starters in one summer.I find it hilarious that the turbo is a piece of crap or "complete pile of junk" in your words but now you actually sell them on ebay after rebuilding them. I hope who ever buys yours doesn't end up with a "$300 canoe anchor". Oh and I guess you had a change of heart on the American economy and now its OK to sell Chinese junk, right? I mean as long as you take a free turbo and throw in a $10 set of bearings and make a profit I guess its OK. In your auction you mention it came from a reputable vendor on ebay, however here you mention tons of things wrong with them that make them prone to failure.
I gave the guy a hell of a deal on the MHI turbo (I actually made "0" on labor) on trade for the blown eBay 16G figuring I could use it for parts. When I tore it down and saw that all it needed was journal bearings and seals, I decided to replace the worn parts and resell it as a whole. The wastegate hole porting was done by me before the turbo was ever installed.
I don't buy the $10 pair(s) of eBay journal bearings, either. I buy genuine Garrett bearings in a sleeve of 10 for $100, so that's $10 each at quantity price, not including shipping.
Think what you want, I'm simply unloading this thing for anything I can get out of it as it's paying for the labor on the first job. I have $33 in genuine Garrett journal bearings and Mitsu seals on this turbo.

.So go ahead and spend $500 + on your genuine MHI Turbos
.I have proven to all of you my E-Bay Turbo Kicks

. My budy had the other black 1g talon, one with external wg, driver side strip missing. Looking at your profile I see you've got evo pistons, where could I obtain some?
