.Do you mean EPROM ECUs? If we have them in stock, yeah. But we don't always have a steady supply.Do you guys sell eproms as well?
We're still going to try, yes. The problem is that the footprint of the 2G non-EPROM CPUs is very different and MUCH more difficult to work with than the 1G non-EPROM CPUs. So the whole issue here is with the physical adaptation of that processor footprint, not so much the technical feasibility of the task. We full well know how to do it. It's just a problem finding a way to physically attach a board to the CPU pads on the PCB in a secure and not so costly manner. I've seen adapters for this go as high as $300-$500 a piece!!! Just for the adapter piece, nothing else. Yeah, no thanks.Do you plan on doing the non eprom to eprom mod for the 2g's as well?
I really don't want to commit yet. We're still considering a few options. Sorry.I still didnt see full price for V3. Could you tell us so I can see if I have the money to get it before Christmas.
So that means that I can now use my MacBook Air for tuning and don't have to lug around the 10lb Dell.
Screen space isn't bad. Track pads in general are annoying, but I have a Logitech VxNano for use inside. Very nice combo, IMO. I'm more than willing to give up a little screen space for the convenience of this laptop. For comparison, I also have an HP nx6310, but I never use it anywhere near the car. I hate lugging those big laptops around inside the car.Tom, I'm curious as to your thoughts on it since you've been using the new software.
Was the old price "outrageous"?Hopefully its not to outragious.

don't know if you all now of this double din in dash nav-system. but here is the link and i am trying to pick one up when ever it comes available and hopefully dsmlink v3 can run on it. here is the link
Azentek - Atlas CPC-1000
i just hope v3 will be compatible with vista or the new windows os???
I just heard from my buddy that V3 will be out in two weeks or so, too. That's awesome....just in time for Christmas!Just receieved this email:
Yes, we will be able to offer 1G non-EPROM conversions with V3.
We're expecting to resume sales mid-December.

As I mentioned, we were still considering a few options, including the option of offering a "detuned" V3, for example, for those that don't need all the features yet but want to reserve the option of upgrading to the full package later. And we still may do that, but we've decided we won't do it as part of the initial release. Putting together a new package would delay the release and we just don't want that.I understand if you guys dont want to show us the price yet. But its so close, I didnt think you guys would still be trying to find a price.
