hey just looking for some info on what could possibly be wrong with my dsm. drove fine a month ago but sat a month and won't start. it cranks over fine and has plenty of fuel getting to the rail, but lost spark and the injectors will not pulse because no matter how much I crank it plugs remain dry and do not spark, does a faulty crank position sensor cause this? or could it be the asd relay? any help is appreciated

Make sure the CAS is plugged in and no wires got chewed on while it was sitting.
1g or 2g Luke? If 2g check the crank sensor.

ya, I've looked it over both the cps and cas are plugged in and wires look fine, tested them with an ohm meter and they dont show anything on the meter, there's no resistance what so ever its just like when you turn the meter to ohms and sont touch it to anything

or could it be the asd relay?
The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay supplies battery
voltage to the fuel injectors, electronic ignition
coil and the heating elements in the oxygen sensors.

The PCM controls the ASD relay by switching the
ground path for the solenoid side of the relay on and
off. The PCM turns the ground path off when the
ignition switch is in the Off position. When the ignition
switch is in On or Start, the PCM monitors the
crankshaft and camshaft position sensor signals to
determine engine speed and ignition timing (coil
dwell). If the PCM does not receive crankshaft and
camshaft position sensor signals when the ignition
switch is in the Run position, it will de-energize the
ASD relay.

oh thanks, I appreciate the responses. does anybody know what a cas and cps should test at ohms wise? how do you test them properly?

for testing the cam and crank sensors, look at the bottom of page 8 on pdf i posted. where it says
FAILURE TO START TEST—2.0/2.4L
