1G Can I secure hotside to o2 housing with a bolt&nut?

I am fedup with breaking bolts and wanting an easy way out. Can I just drill out the broken bolts from hotside and just use a bolt and nut, or will that not be enough clamping force? I really have no desire to buy another set of helicoil if I don't need to.

Yes you should be able to just drill it out and use another bolt and nut with washers.
Honestly wouldnt be my first thought, but in a pinch, you got to do what you got to do.

Heat may be an issue to your new bolt, nut and washers, but go ahead. If you decide to make a build thread tho keep us updated on how there holding up fom time to time.

Standard exhaust studs and nuts work just fine
