My fuel door broke when I opened it.the little plastic piece that comes back when u pull the open lever broke off and I don’t know what to do to fix it can anyone help? There are pictures below:dsm:

It suks. One of mine, my dd, did that. I push it closed by hand and it's never opened or looked funny like it was broken. Miller Imports,

can probably fix you up with it as they part cars all the time. @dacowgod is parting several cars also but that might not be an easy to get to part.
Always check Millers for used parts if none are locally available. :)
 
It happened to me a few months back. The plastic latch got broken when a gas station guy strongly closed the gas door. While I am looking for a replacement I temporarily fixed it with putting a small screw like the pic attached. Still working fine, just need to pull the lever slowly and close the door gently since the plastic part is no longer strong. This is just a temporary solution to avoid somebody gets into mischief.
