What exactly are you looking to spend and what are you goals?

The Evo III big 16g is an AMAZING turbo. It flows fairly closely to a 20g but it has insanely quick spool, faster than the 14b actually. It is by far the best of the 16g stock turbos anyway, I think there may be a better one available but I wouldn't know who would sell them and how much of an improvement they would really be.

As for your intercooler I'd personally go Punishment Racing since it comes with everything you need and its on sale right now. The only problem with Punishment Racing, CX racing, and VRSF is they are basically ebay kits, but people have made crazy numbers on them. Plus I don't think with a 16g you will get to a point where it would really matter.

With the VRSF kit I believe you have to buy a few things, I know the J-pipe is something that does not come with it, but you can buy it at the same time easily, you also don't get to keep your fogs, plus it has a bigger core and true short route piping. But you have to also relocate a few things.

The Punishment kit lets you keep your fogs, less cutting, no relocation of anything, pretty freakin easy to install honestly. It is also not that much smaller than the VRSF kit.

I seriously need to ROFLROFLROFLROFL at the JDM comments.

Show me a "JDM" front mount for the DSM and a MHI 16g is still a MHI 16g no matter what coutry it came from. This isnt Honda world bud.

I hope you dont walk around claiming your car is "JDM".

Anyways. ExtremePSI is acrually having a sale on the E316g right now with 24 hour shipping. Or go to Modern Automotive Performance or Slowboy Racing. They both price match and/or beat the price.

As for a front mount, VRSF and Punishment Racing kits are cheap and effective.

no i didnt buy it some guys has it for a car he hasnt out them in yet but i mite buy the car and it come with those two things do they fit or what

What is the condition of the 16g and the asking price? I want to see a picture of a "JDM" FMIC LOL

The VRSF kit is a full short route kit for under $300.

OP, before you even buy anything learn about the car you own and realize it's a domestic.

OP, please use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar in your future posts. It helps us to understand your questions and responses better.

The way you're addressing them as a title sounds like you found a "JDM big 16g and JDM intercooler kit" on ebay or something. Beware of things found on ebay. In most cases the quality of such kits are going to be very inferior to parts that you can buy from reputable DSM vendors, much like gusu implied in his post. Go with a reputable vendor, make a good relationship with them, and they will help you out in future modifications.

Well... it's sort of a mutt, but yeah, more or less. :D

Well, the only "JDM" 16g I would think is the knock off EVO GT 16G (ebay). I have seen "JDM" FMIC before, it's ebay's T3/4 turbo kits, usually comes with it or sold individually, cheap stuff (for HONDAS). Yeah, like mentioned before, buy from reputable vendors, I personally bought my FMIC from punishment, was great, all the little stuff from extremepsi.

Thank you!

This whole JDM crap is getting outta hand....:notgood:

Just so you are aware, this is no "JDM" scene where a "JDM" motor is built differently than a USDM motor. The sole differences are a different turbo (The E316G came stock on the Evo 3), intake manifold (Evo 3/RVR for the 7 bolt and the Cyclone for the 6 bolt), cams are a slightly different profile but other than that, they are the same thing.

The only real different DSM is the European GSI which is a 2g with a 4g63 NT motor instead of the 420a. All are standard left hand driven.

The DSM never came with a front mount so it's either an eBay "JDM" FMIC or it's just from some other vehicle entirely. As stated, the turbo can be had brand new through a vendor for less than $500 and you should never buy a turbo without knowing what it is and the actual condition it is in.
