Just finished my 2gb swap on my 96. I was a painter in a body shop. Aftermarket front bumper with triangle filled in, rear oem bumper stripped, primed and painted, skirts and fender caps also stripped primed and painted. Front fenders and rear quarters were blended cause its a 30 year old car .

I drove, but trailered it. Only had 18 miles on the engine since dropping it in, so wasn't ready for that commitment. Still isn't ready for that as I got plenty of little on-going issues, but nothing majorly wrong.

I work nights anyway, hate traffic, and the heat....so I've begun to get fuel late at night instead of before or after work. Works out great. The Raceway that has E85 near me is 24 hours so win-win. Also I usually grab a couple 5 gallon jugs of spare E85 too so I don't have to refuel 45+ mins away every time.

As another bonus, I'm getting 17mpg. Which on full E85, with city driving, and my heavy ass lead foot romping on it..is great. It's as good as my 2015 Ford Edge Sport gets in city driving on 87 octane.

Also: I "washed" it with waterless wash/wax. Think it turned out great tbh.

I was supposed to be there, but the Spyder had plans of its own, and I had to try to fix it rather than join up.

This was at Cruisin' Ocean City, MD this year. Made the 250-mile round trip (longest consecutive trip it's taken under my ownership) with the only problem being a noticeable power steering leak. You can tell it's a work in progress .
