I can use all the room i can get. The 1g guys seem to have a bigger engine bay from what ive seen. The 1g intake mani I run is bigger than the 2g at the same time and it eats alot of space. The cruise control is removed, battery relocation, and emissions system deleted. Still it's a little full in there.

Made a little progress today. Got the head installed and plugged in a few sensors. Tomorrow i will assemble the valvetrain.

Down to air intake, and setting the timing and replacing covers, can't forget that engine mount on the driver side.

Oh ok i see. Yeah theres an HKS wastegate down there with an uncirculating dump pipe. I like the older vintage style parts too. That waste gate is like 20 years old . I took it apart to inspect it and everything looked perfect. The diaphragm was worn either which i thought if anything it would need one.

Yeah that’s vintage for sure. I hate how my dump is right next to the ic pipe so I’m sure it picks up some heat from there when I’m wot.

Funny eBay story. My buddy wanted his plugs changed. Told him to get it from the dealer. Shows up with ford plugs he got off eBay. Add said it fits his Nissan . He ran around for an hour .

Ok so i bought this car back in 2018. As far as the exhaust goes i removed the heat shield that was on it took the turbo system out inspected it and cleaned it. The manifold, turbo, and all that were on the car at that time. I went with coating the manifold because it looked better in my opinion. So based on what you are saying this exhaust manifold is some kind of knock off? If so that is incredibly disappointing considering all the other great old school parts that were on it when i got it. Here is a pic of the condition the day i brought it home.

Maybe even older. It's from the mid/late 90s

Yea it doesn't look like a Turbonetics. But it's lasted this long so it's obviously decent quality
