I just received my IAC and correct o ring from STM but I want to make sure I put the o ring on correctly does the or ring sit on top as show in my picture or do I wrap it around the base it’s sitting on?

Oh okay thanks guys so just put the o ring in the throttle body then tighten down the IAC. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t crack this one

Yes. Once the o-ring is inside the TB ISC/IAC bore it will sit like you've shown and seal the end of the ISC/IAC base.

It doesn't go between the flange and the TB around the ISC/IAC base. Trying to do that will break the ears off the ISC/IAC when you attempt to bolt it down.
