I’m SO close. It’s been 4 years of undoing a million crazy things the last guy did wrong and I’m finally turning the key on this thing.

It’s a 95 with a motor from a 94 so the motor is the rare 1g 7bolt. I used the magnus method (wired the green top cam sensor to give the signal for itself and the missing crank sensor; changed all 4 injector wires at the harness [putting it out of phase]; and lastly I changed the firing order swapping 1&3 and 2&4 [putting it back into phase] )

When I had the firing order swapped like magnus said, it would just crank over and over and never fire. I figured I’d try them the regular way the service manual says and it actually fires for about a second but I can’t keep it running.

First couple pictures are just to show off that pretty motor! Last couple are to show that it’s the 1g style oil pan, but also 7 bolts on the flywheel (a lot of people were telling me “it’s a 6bolt” and “it’s a 7 bolt” so I figured I’d show it REALLY is a 1g 7bolt LOL

Any ideas would be awesome I wanna see this thing run SO BAD!!!!

Always double, triple check the valve timing, all connections for sensors, no boost/vacuum leak, throttle body adjustment etc.

Just FYI, there is no 1g or 2g style oil pan, it's 6 bolt or 7 bolt related. So you can't determine if it's 1g 7 bolt or 2g 7 bolt by checking only the oil pan.
If you see a bolt hole where circled green in the pic below, the front case is 7 bolt, which means you have a 7 bolt engine. And then check if the block has the base for 1g front roll stop bracket. If there is, then it's 1g 7 bolt. If not, then it's not a 1g 7 bolt. No need to drop the trans to count the flywheel bolt number in case if the transmission is still in the car.

P.S. Looks like the oil pan bolt next green circle is too long. It may rub the timing belt. You need to use a shorter bolt (8mm) in there and under oil pump sprocket.
