Your doing better than "not to bad" . I know there's very few who've seen a 10sec time with a stock intake manifold and street rubber. Keep plugging away.

I wonder why the stock ignition is breaking up. Isn't our ignition strong enough for much more cylinder pressure? Guys don't start thinking about ignition upgrading until they are in the low 9s or some rediculous number. So I don't think the spark is just blowing out. It sounds like something is loose or faulty.

Yea true. the plugs are gap at like .025"... The gm maf probably doesn't help matters because its so unstable and the a/f tends to go all over the place... I need speed density!

Eagle rods and ross pistons (8.5:1 CR) I think I am finally at the power level where it would be a bit too much for a stock 6 bolt bottom end.... Its still a 2 liter and the head is stock other than BC 272's and BC springs and retainers.

I ran 11.1 @ 133 with stock internals, intake, TB and such. I LOVE the fact that there are other holset owners running some FAST times. Next track trip for me im NOT coming back without a 10sec slip. I only got 3 runs on this setup and it was only getting faster so i KNOW 10's are in it.

first run was 12.0 @128
second was 11.5 @ 130
third was 11.1 @ 133

I should of did another run but i was sooo happy with that time..hehe..

Let us know WHEN you run a 10!!

Are you on the .55 a/r bep housing? What does your car weigh?

Boost is right around 34psi and only revving out to about 7500rpm... After that it seems to kinda die off...

I ran a 11.88 @ 116, and my rpm's are around 7k! I dont know if i could hit 130 mph in fourth gear befor 7500 rpm's. What rpm's are you at in fourth gear at the end of the track?

I ran a 11.88 @ 116, and my rpm's are around 7k! I dont know if i could hit 130 mph in fourth gear befor 7500 rpm's. What rpm's are you at in fourth gear at the end of the track?

If I remember correctly I am going through the traps at right around 7k maybe a bit more...

Yea idk that seems weird... If I remember correctly with stock gearing I think 4th gear around 8k is right around 140mph... I remember when my car was on pump and has a 50 trim I was trapping 115ish and I was only in 4th for just a little bit...

Im running the T-3 .70 AR housing and im just checking into the weight of the car! i forgot!

Car weighs 3000lbs with my A$$ in there!!
