Yeah I made up all of that, huh? Idiot, try a little reading comprehension. I obviously credit all of that back to what I THOUGHT was a reliable source. Jesus, if the guy who built your stupid car is a reliable soucre, what is?????

I already said what I needed to say to you in your harassing PM so why don't you grow the #### up and keep it off the boards if you've got such a big problem with me. :thumbdown

For some one don't care about my stupid car, You sure went through a lot of touble trying to find out infromation about if.

Have you destroyed a T25 yet?

The tiny bearings in those things can't take much shaft RPM, and it must be getting the crap spun out of it when that extra 100 shot hits.

Of course, with that much exhaust pressure, I bet that the wastegate is getting blown wide open, anyway.

I don't know what to say, except, amazing......and alittle quote I saw on a Honda, this quote is for fun only, I do respect your car and am not trashing on it..just funny..."Bottles are for babys, real men get blown"

Just thought it was funny...great job on that car...wow...

I would also like to know this.

No, believe it or not, that turbo has over 50K miles and has seen over 600 passes on the bottle. OMG The turbo still has no shaft play and spools up perfectly(up to 10 lbs). External dump helps keep the pressure off the turbo. Since I shift at 6400 RPM's, the turbo doesn't see that high of Rev's. If anyone has any other questions please let me know. Thanks for the interest and support. :thumb:

WOW i just want to say good job i about shit my pants when i saw this thread! keep up the good work also im planing on moving to phx soon i like it that there is alot of dsmtuners now there someone pm me let me know what u guys do for fun! :thumb:

I just wanted to say your setup has me second guessing my goals! Great Job with that tuning. Also wanted to say that your other ride is sweet  as helll! My car is a toy and it would be great to have 2 DSM's but my other passion is trying to get my jeep stuck when ever possible

Wait I am in PHX...hm..I want to see that car run.... :thumb:

If anyone want's to see my car run I will be at Firebird race way on Friday Feb 4th from around 6pm to 11pm. On that night I am also going to run an 80 shot off the line +120 half track :D This should get me in the high 10's. :thumb:

Yeah anyone can race on that night.

i'm setting my car for a 75 shot wet. What internal mods you have? I'm running ross 9.0:1 pistons and eagle h beam rods...arp's and mitsu 4 layer hg. I'm also running a tdo6 20g ...not A T25... What boost pressure do run with t25?

If I were you I would start off at a 35 shot then work your way up. Learn how to drive on the bottle first then up your shot to a 50 shot then a 75. This way you will learn all of the things your car will do on the bottle. As for boost pressure I run around 12 lbs because I don't have a boost controller. All of your upgrades sound great but do you have anything to adjust your timing with. Stock timing is around 15 degrees advance at W.O.T. (Example) If you are running 20 lbs of boost your timing should be around 12 degrees advanced at W.O.T. Another example would be for every 5 lbs of boost (above stock boost usually 12lbs) you should take out 2 degrees of timing. If you don't back off your timing you will burn a piston or ring or both. :thumbdown I know everyone says that they advance their timing but I promise you It will catch up with you eventually. Most people don’t realize how important timing is. It is something that is just over looked. (Example) A few weeks ago I ran 180 shot of bottle and I took out 8 degrees of timing so that at W.O.T. the car was running at 7 degrees advanced. Now I have an old school 5 knob I.T.C. from Apex I and so I can adjust my timing from inside the car and at every rpm from 1000 rpm’s to 8000 rpm’s. Now to check your cars timing you must get a timing light and have someone push the gas while you are checking your timing at W.O.T. For those that are wondering the car loved the 180 shot but it was making so much power that the clutch didn’t hold it and I had a bad back fire which blew out the freeze plug on the intake manifold. So now I pulled the motor out and I am changing the clutch to an act 2600. I am also checking out the rest of the motor to make sure everything is ok. I will have the car ready for the N.O.P.I. national and I will try for tens again. :thumb: Thanks for the support. Talk to you all soon.

I planned starting small like 35 shot. I usually run 0 degrees base timing in order to get zero knock 21 psi pump gas 93oct and 15degrees timing advance with 650cc afc td06 20g 2g mas ross 9.0:1.I'm using an MSD dis 2 ignition but...i don't know if the timing adjustment feature will work for retarding while spraying.I was looking into an apexi itc but i don't know if it's overkill or not. Also,i have no experience in using the ITC.

Is your timing at 0 degrees at idle or at wide open throttle? Also you really don’t want to retard your timing passed top dead center. 15 degrees advanced timing at W.O.T. is a bit much for 21 lbs in my opinion, even though you have a great build up. A safe play would be around 11 degrees advanced at 21 lbs and if you add a 50 shot to the 21 lbs I would back the timing to 8 degrees advanced both at W.O.T. As for the ITC it is so easy to use and install. If you get one I can explain how to use it. Let me know how everything works out. :thumb:

Good luck

i set my base timing to 0 @idle.

So your timing should be around 10 to 12 degrees advanced at W.O.T. That should be good for 20lbs of boost and a 35 shot. If you use a 50 shot or more I would set your timing around 8 degrees advanced at W.O.T. Let me kow how it works out. :thumb:

I believe his time, even though I have not seen his car. I have a 97 GS-T and I have made 550+WHP on the dyno on a STOCK 7-bolt bottom end, 2G intake and 1G TB with 2G hacked MAF. Anything is possible. I run 35psi on a straight T4 turbo. That is another way to go, and never really thought about NOS instead of boost. I am not a huge fan of NOS, but to each his own. I will bet he will hit high 10's in no time. I know I will hit 10's on my stock motor this year sometime. I just need an AEM and I should be good to go. Low boost and NOS is definitely another way to go. I personally like to make HP on boost.

Good luck on your quest for that 10 sec mark. I am almost there too.

STOCK 7-BOLT!!

I ran 11.55@119 w/o nitrous with td06 20g 28-30psi,2g mas stock, afc, 650cc's,web cams 546/547,ross 9.0:1 pistons, fmic ,hks 40mm ext, walbro 255,4 bolt ,act 2600,weight reduction, ported head...plus more.I'm in no shape financially too afford a bigger turbo and supporting mods.I'm still convinced that I can go low low 11's w/o nitrous but I need a better FMIC.It's cheaper for me to go low 11"s with nitrous and my original setup maybe go into 10's who knows what a 55-60 shot would do on my car!!!!

That's an amazing car, however you've got me really worried about my timing now. I'm definately going to have to look into it before I turn up my boost to 20+lbs.

i give you a big thumbs up :thumb: on the car , just curious if you dynoed the car and got a hp number. very curious as to how much your putting to the wheels
