I’m relatively new to tuning and have been out of the DSM world for a few. Years I'm wondering if any one would be willing to email me a tune file similar or close to what I have to get a base to build from. Car is 90 Laser RS. 91-94 TB with 2g TPS. 450cc inj, 20g turbo, 3in thermal exhaust have brand new DSMLink V3.

Unlikely to find one that was built off the same mods as that's a peculiar matchup of components, especially the turbo size vs injectors.
Are you running maf? 1g? 2g? evo?
Are you on speed density?
Just dive into it, you're not exactly that far from stock anyway.

New DSMLink or something you got from someone else?
Right now if it's a fresh install all you need to do is tell it what MAP and IAT sensors you have and enable speed density.
If it's a hand-me-down I'd save the current setting by grabing a log to save and then go through the process of resetting everything back to stock before doing the above.

Just go with the stock VE values to start. You dont need to modify fuel from default. You'll likely only need a few small tweaks to VE. Assuming the TPS is wired in correctly for a 1G ECU

You'll run out of injector before you can even push that turbo so I would just load up the evo8 timing and AFR tables and tweak your timing from there. It will probably land somewhere between evo8 and 1G.

I usually run a blend of 1G off-boost and evo8 mod1 + what the engine will respond with on load cells >1.4 then make tweaks where it likes to knock the most. My comfort threshold is 1 degree, though.

However, with the 8.5:1 and pump gas, I found that even the 1G off-boost can lead to knock on throttle stabs due to prolonged advanced timing.

Thanks @steve , that's what this forum is all about. Not DEAD END THREADS.
So @slowspool91 , what was the solution to the problem so other readers don't have to look further? 🤔
