Long time lurker need some tips tuning my crap. having a hard time understanding the fluctuations in my AFRatioEst right before it starts to knock. trying to tune on 91 octane. not sure if I should be adjusting my SD table, timing or fuel. been bouncing between them not making much progress.

Hope it is helpful. I make drastic (10 points or more) changes in my SD table if I am having problems. Remember that just because the table shows you are in a certain box, all of the boxes around that cell effect it also! I am retuning my car with 2150's right now and I am doing the same things. Feedback when you figure it out so it helps others :thumb:

I'm not on my tuning laptop so i can't view the log.
Generally you want to make a nice smooth afr table and leave it alone, start with a conservative timing table (stock 2g works) just so it isn't knocking when you make a pull.
Use your SD table to dial in your afrest/wideband. If you are seeing numbers well over 100 maybe consider using the global fuel adjustment to bring it back down.
Once your AFR est matches wideband go ahead and add timing until you see knock and back it off.
I've never used airflow smoothing on an SD setup and really haven't had any issues due to that feature.
