After recently blowing up my fp red from oil starvation I put together a fresh block.
7 bolt with race bearings,
front mount intercooler 2.5 inch piping
3 inch megan racing exhaust stock manifold, stock turbo
non cruise throttle cable, adjusted to .63 car off key on, .65 key on car on.

1250cc injectors
255 lph walbro
-6 an feed lines
-6 fuellab filter
aeromotive fuel pressure regulator set to 58 psi
5/8s rubber return line

external oil cooler, mounted on the front bumper.

Vibrant Manual boost controller.

I will post a log of the most recent pulls.

My question is can i add more boost?, after being full rich on wot and going into boost, i pulled fuel from the global and am now alot closer to my target AFR running 11 ish and its commanding 10.8,

log previous to the one im about to post was 9.9 or 10 at wot or full boost 20 psi ish

I had IAT around 150 degrees and .4 knock before i pulled more fuel out i was having loads of knock. 15 27 degrees ish with much much lower IAT closer to 110 degrees

do i add more boost and pull timing? pull timing then add boost? add fuel back then add boost?

my understanding is im to stay around 10.8 afr when wot, so the fact it pins to 10.5 and comes up to 11 would mean its good for this moment.

My concern is once i put the fp red back on itll be all f***ed up again, im understanding the stock turbo alot more than the fp red as far as VE table adjustments,

If i put the fp red on it hits boost later but harder. its super tough to dial in or have "smooth"values.

i can post logs from each turbo for reference, maybe someone may or may not notice something.

will post most recent stock log following this initial post.

Thanks guys.

I set my global fuel to hit afr targets with the SD table peak set to 95 at the max boost cell. Eveything blends downwards away from that point, using the SD table to hit the rest of the afr targets along the length of the pull, and anywhere else you have data.

I generally favor timing over boost, and if your knock is under control, you can use knock to find that boost vs timing point threshold
