I know there's tons of threads on this subject but I figure I might as well ask so I can get a straight answer. Once I get everything's straight on my car (need new throttle body, new TPS, new air filter, a better tune, new UICP, fix boost leak, etc..) I'm thinking to bring my car up to 300 horsepower at 17-20psi. Now I'm wondering if these mods will be sufficient enough to take care of that goal:

- 650cc injectors
- 3" turbo back (I'm thinking thermal r&d, I'm running stock still)
- 250 fuel pump? Do I even need this?
- BPR7ES plugs? (I'm using BPR6ES less than two weeks old)

Anything else I need? My mods now are boost controller, boost gauge, cold air intake, 3" GM MAFT. I'm at 15psi and honestly since I've tuned it with the MAFT, this thing pulls way past my expectations. But I know this car has much more potential.

I plan to stick with the t-25 so please don't suggest a bigger turbo.

EDIT: after 3 pages of people's help, I realize the t-25 isn't going to cut it.

My thoughts in bold.

What i already have installed:
3" exhaust from turbo to cat (no cat convertor)
boost controller
boost gauge
3" maf-t Do you mean 3" GM MAF, or GM MAF and MAF Translator?
GReddy bov
hard ic piping

What I need:
Turbo ANY 16g turbo will work. Small, big, Evo 3, they will all produce 300hp. I would suggest a used one in good condition. There's plenty on here for sale.
Injectors 550 is cutting it close for 300hp. 650/660 is more than enough though
fuel pump rewire Stock fuel pump is cutting it close for 300hp, even rewired. I would suggest at least an Evo pump or a Walbro 190.
bigger intercooler...what sucks about this one is I want to keep my fog lights. The Punishment Racng FMIC lets you keep the fog lights.

OP, do you actually want to try to get 17-20 psi and 300 hp out of a tiny 25? You're gonna have a lot of problems with that. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but a bigger turbo is a MUST for your goals. The t25 simply can't do it, as has been previously stated. 16G is the way to go, in which case you need bigger injectors, and that fuel pump, too. Sorry:(

Na everyone here already got that thought out of my mind. Read around throughout this post and you'll see what my newly developed plans are.

Dude, read. He literally just said he's going with a 16g.

GM Maf AND translator.

I have a chance to get Evo IX injectors and pump. Will these both be suffiencient?

I also have a chance to get a fresh rebuilt small 16g.

And I'll look into that fmic. It's just gonna look funny with a 2ga bumper LOL.

Yes, Evo injectors would do the trick. Same with the fuel pump, but a rewire wouldn't hurt.

Small 16g's are great. I've been using one for a few years now. Super fast spool with the ability to pump out over 34 lbs/min, which means 340hp at the crank.

I have mine with a 2ga bumper. Looks nice and fit well. Although I did cut my bumper a bit...

I would honestly forget about the gm maft and just save for dsmlink lite. I had the gm maft in one of my cars a while ago and it was a pain to get it perfect. You can throw mods at youre car all day and never see the numbers you want , all the magic comes from the tune.

+1 to that ^. A maft is basically just useful for using the gm maf, and ends there. It was fine on stock injectors, but as soon as i dumped my e 8 560s in i quickly realized the need for something more to tune timing and fine tune fuel maps. Im waiting on a tactrix cable to put my evo 8 ecu in.

Ps, wes the car looks great. Kinda looks like a cat in the front LOL ;)

Oh, and if you do opt to go with the maft, i strongly suggest routing it to the cab. I have mine in the center console. And also, wire in a gm iat sensor. It sucks without it. You tune it one day, and soon as the weather changes, youre retuning. Like me this morning on the way to work in 30* air making changes. The car loved it though, cept my clutch slipping in 3rd :(

Oops, my b. For whatever reason, this post came up in the 'new posts' section so I assumed there was only 1 page.:banghead:

Some people are just a tad lazy. Evo injectors and pump it is then!

And your bumper looks great, very clean. But personally I like to keep the outside looking as stock as possible. I don't really like the attention.

I totally see what you man. It was tough for me to get it right at first. But after spending some time setting it all up, the car runs so much better vs when I first got it. I've never had a problem with it since, especially with Michigan hot-one-day-freezing-cold-the-next-day weather.

It's straight man no worries.

I have a boost controller and gauge and I am tuning with a maft. Putting the power down will be an issue but I'm not that type to drive the piss out of the car from first to fourth gear.

This went out to be three pages long, I already know a t25 won't make it that far LOL.

Turbo (EDIT from last post...I guess RRE stopped selling imported mitsu turbos)
Injectors
fuel pump rewire

- I can make you a bastard 20g with a td05 donor core -I just need the CHRA and a good turbine housing and shaft

- go on the evo boards- 560's can be had for a good price as they practically give them away to move up.

as far as IC's go- if you creative with fab or have access to someone who can TIG aluminum, you can snag a GODSPEED sidemount on ebay and reweld the end tanks for your IC setup, or you make pipe to fit with universal bends- before you knock the ebay setup, a pair of godspeeds will land a 300zx tt over 800rwhp- and keep in mind each IC is supporting a single nissan garret t25 per bank, a 16g/20g will outflow that puppy in a heartbeat.

- it lets you keep foglights and doesnt place something else in front of the Rad, which can be problematic for some engines in a hot summer who want to run at the track
