Hi im from Puerto Rico, im 20 years old and im planing on reaching 350whp on my 97 Gst. I dont think i will go for more beacuse its my daily driven car to go to college. Then my plans will be to swap my engie or anotherone to a 93 mirage and buy an evo 3 body kit and install a awd system. What would you do (mods) to get your car to 300 to 350 whp healthy car.

My actual mods are:
K&N filter
Intake pipe
GReddy Pipe kit
HKS BOV
Apexi SAFC
255lph pump
Aeromotive FPR
Unorthodox under drive pulley
Hayamme Cam Gears

I have but not installed
Apexi N1 Cat back
Apexi GT downppe
1G Throttle body
1G intake manifold

I want a street show car and something that would look good under the hood. I was thinkin on the DN performance manifold and W/G and O2 ki. What would you do?

For 350 HP just stick with your 2G manifold and port it. For a turbo I would go with a big 16G of t28.

For 350whp, get an EVOIII 16g, injectors, cams, clutch, FMIC, and a pocketlogger.

I'm sure I'm missing a few things that someone else will throw in.

A T28 and 16G will get you 350HP @ the crank. If your looking for 350whp, I'd consider a EVOIII 16G or larger. Upgrading to any available flavors of a T28 would be easy, but for $800. I'd get something else that would give me more bang for my buck.

ok i have only seen 2 AWD DSM dyno a 16G over 350WHP and thats with internals, SMIM, and head work. If you want 350WHP on stock long block get a TD06 20G or a T3/T4 Hybrid. As for you mods you still need Injectors (660cc), FMIC, and logger. :dsm:

You must not read much than, because Ive seen 2g awd's dyno NEAR that (with a shitload of tuning albeit) on a 14b. An evo3 is MORE than capable..

I would LOVE to see a dyno of a 350whp AWD 14B. Unless he was running bumped up compression and every other mod (SMIM, cams, everything,) I'm calling BS.

i think an EVO III at 350 to the ground is pretty much at its limit. If you wanted to go to 350 I would think a 20g would be easier to do it with and save you a lot of headache.

The thread and dyno sheet were on dsmtalk, but Leon Reitman ran 11.6 in a 1g awd on a 14b. Race gase, 22 pounds or so if i recall, and for some reason I dont think he was using an SAFC. Even if he has weight reduction out the ass, thats plenty to equate to 350whp.

Yeah that's great and all but the vast majority of people will not have the same results with a 14b.
