So im gathering up parts for my setup im going to be aiming for 350 to the wheels in my 92 awd. So far this is what i have in mind.

MODS:
Evo III 16G
Evo 560cc injectors or 650cc
Walbro 255 fuel pump
3" turboback exhaust
AFPR
o2 Dump
FMIC w/2.5" piping. 30x8.5x2.5
tubular exhaust manifold
SAFC
MAF-T
ACT 2600 clutch
Meth injection
264/264 or 272/272 BC cams
Dejon intake
AEM UEGO wideband
Pocketlogger

Im aiming for 350 to the wheels on about 22psi on the 16G. What do you guys think?

thanks

I wanna go with dsmlink but right now i cant afford it. I still havent checked if i got a eprom ecu. If my ecu is eprom i just might go ahead and buy link because it so worth it. Im looking to go low 12's on the setup on race gas

LOL yea i got a boost gauge already. no they do but not all of them have eprom

i was thinking about getting a dsmchip. i wanna be between 300-350 to the wheels

I know it take more parts in the short term to accomplish this but why don't you look into using E-85 not race gas.

This car is to be a street car making 300-350 HP at the wheels right.

If you can get it E-85 is 105 octane and usually $.50-80 less than 87 octane.

Your car will need to be tuned.

Just food for thought,Good Luck!

I would go with some 650's and a meth injection kit or think about e85 like stated above, just make sure you research. That would let you get to around 350whp. On pump gas my car was at 300whp and that was on about 18psi and it was detonation happy at that boost level with the stock 1g timing.

Evo III 16G (good)
Evo 560cc injectors or 650cc (I'd recommend the FIC 650's)
Walbro 255 fuel pump (get the High Pressure version and rewire it)
3" turboback exhaust (good)
AFPR (don't forget a pressure gauge)
o2 Dump (good)
FMIC w/2.5" piping. 30x8.5x2.5 (good)
tubular exhaust manifold (look into the EVO III cast manifold instead)
SAFC
MAF-T
ACT 2600 clutch (look into the south bend kevlar disc instead of the ACT disc)
Meth injection (no 93 octane pump fuel around you I'm guessing)
264/264 or 272/272 BC cams (the 272/272 combo is perfect for your setup)
Dejon intake (good)
AEM UEGO wideband (good)
Pocketlogger

Just something to ponder, dsmlink would take the place of the SAFC and logger, could also replace the MAFT too, but I assume you want that so you can vent the BOV maybe? List looks good. I would also recommend that you get a light weight flywheel to go with whatever clutch setup you choose as well as a braided s/s clutch line and longer slave rod. I'd also recommend a set of ARP head studs and an MLS head gasket if you have room in your budget. Just remember it's better to wait 2 weeks to buy the good stuff then replace the cheap junk every 2 weeks!

Not only does the maf-t allow you too vent, but it helps with spool and flow. I had a lot better response with the maf-t than I did with the 2g maf. Not to mention it also moves the air meter close to the intake which is a lot better than in front of the turbo. I would still stick with a maf-t if I went dsmlink not just for the venting reasons.

we have 93 octane around me but im still gunna run the meth. as i said i cant afford the dsmlink right now. the clutch setup is in the car already and im doing the timing and the head gasket and head studs this week. also i dont know where to find E85 around my area

If you have an EPROM already, ditch the SAFC, MAF-T, and Pocketlogger. For the money that stuff costs, you can have DSMLink.

I would also get the FP manifold before I get a tubular. I can't think of a tubular mitsu-flanged manifold under $400 that I would trust more than the FP cast manifold.

i was looking at the SS tubular ebay exhaust manifolds. there like 150. or im gunna go evo III exhaust manifold

The SS manifolds are not known for their awesomeness. Some people have had success, other people have had them break. Just like any other tubular manifold I guess. A cast manifold is a better idea for a street car, either the 2g, EVOIII, or the FP are good choices.

When your AFC is limiting you, you'll wish you had gone with the 'link. The other thing you can do is burn your own eproms. You can find that info here
hwnd.org - 1G DSM EPROM Editing
at the site linked there, and you can look for DSMap which is a speed density code for the DSM ECU. Works good and you'll be able to vent with a SD system.

I've heard the UEGO doesn't like to work with the factory ECU. I'm not really fond of it because of the price. Consider a LC-1, JAW, or something else, unless you must have that fancy lightshow up on your dash. The gauge itself is really only an "OH S!" meter so you can pull your foot out of it if you run out of fuel. The real work is done in the logging systems, and I think the others have a better setup for that. Maybe not, but do your homework before you drop the $$. I went with the JAW, it's pretty nice in that it can log a few different things and is about $60-100 less.

Do not get a tubular manifold of ebay, it will not last long.

And my biggest word of advice is get dsmlink and call it a day. You can get such a good tune with dsmlink compared to an afc, just save your money. Its worth every penny.

Kinda reminds me of my setup....only im running the MAFT GEN II with Wideband Self-Tuning LC-1 and an EPROM ECU with a KEYDIVER STAGE 3

i hear that race gas also burns out the aem wideband sensor. i was thinking to go with the ngk WBO2

dont trust the ebay ones you'll be replacing it and kicking yourself in the ass. :( i had a cheap pace setter and after it split apart i got the FP race manifold. best $350 i spent and the spool time is awsome. :thumb:

Yeah even if you have all that stuff(the AFC etc) already you can easily sell it and make almost enough to buy dsmlink! Goodluck:thumb:
