So now i am going start to mod my car after a year of owning it. It a 95 Gst. My goal is 350whp. I cant start till sunday anyways. But some of the things i have done so far put some 17" Hot Wheels octane's, some sharp hids 10,000k 55watt, hoping to keep my fogs with my new fmic from Vrs, some slotted rotors from powerslot front and backs, hawk brake pads, tokico advanced handing suspension kit with 1.5 drop i hope i dont rub since i went 17", 10" sony Xplod sub with 600watt amp, a jensen dvd player play every cd you can name, a turbo xs bov, and a t-28 and a safc. I have a ways to go tho.

Good luck but don't cheap out on stuff, I don't mean to be a dick but it seems like due to your lack of mods/funding this is what you have been doing. Remember, function over form. 6k HIDs provide better light output than 10k, and still look like an aftermarket HID. 5k HIDs provide some of the best light output and look almost OEM (white vs purple/blue (6k/10k). Diamond Audio, Resonant Engineering, and many other make good subs as well that give you a lot for your money dBA and SQ-wise. Pioneer makes good decks and the older Alpine's have awesome build quality and features. TiAL makes good quality BOVs.

Spend a bit more now and save a lot in the future. :thumb:

You shouldn't have issues with the 17's as that's what most people run on their cars.

Sony is a very good sub for my taste and the deck is just fine there was nothing cheap about it the bov came with the car the hks is in the mail as we speak. And i love the hids i have hasd them for 2 months now and no problems. And i can see the road just fine i will put a video up right now for you.

As I've said, I'm not trying to be a dick- I'm just trying to help you out, sorry if I come off as being rude. You have to realize I don't know you or what you want out of your sound system/lights/etc... I'm just letting you know about products my friends and I have good experiences with, and that are proven (we all do a ton of reading before buying anything).

You don't need to prove anything to me, it's your money and your car, do it up as you please, I'm just putting info out there that may be of use to you and anyone who sees this thread. :thumb:

Good luck with everything bro, keep us posted with updates. Also a couple things, make sure to put the timing belt cover and the heat shield back on, cover your positive terminal, try running your power wire through the firewall, replace that old looking rad hose, and where the hell is your dipstick?

I will back down south this fall. (tuscaloosa, Fiance going to Alabama) but I plan on playing Hockey for Alabama for two years until she graduates and transfering to UF. I miss Florida I grew up in Ft myers.

Whats the deal with the plug wires? they seem pretty long.

10,000k hid's was a big waste of money. Like already states, the lower the number the more light output you get and the higher the number the more color you get. I use a 6000k in my daily and it's great, if I buy another set, I'd go 4300k.
Your also a far cry away from 350hp, but best of luck to you. And stay away from ebay.

just read. ALOT.
theres going to be alot of "dont buy this" "buy this" but honestly, you have to do research and use common sense. I built a 350 hp FWD before I sold it, and it was built between some genuine MHI parts, SSAC, and ebay, among other names. to make 350 safely make sure you either do a dsmchip or dsmlink. the key to power isn't always in the parts, but moreso in the tune.

if you already have a t28 then see how you like it, but ive driven both a t28 and 16g, and personally I liked the 16g better, for both the street and the track.

you are going to need injectors and a fuel pump, probably a fuel pressure regulator, and I can't think of much else off the top. Good luck and READ READ READ...bigger (and more expensive) isn't always better!

i second that motion. I agree with "KPEclipse" research is key. read read read, and then ask alot of questions. I have a E3 16G and i love it. good luck with the build :thumb: and keep us posted

good work man keep us updated on the progress.... also look into getting ride of the TURBO XS BOV they are known to leak bad

330 whp would be an easier target for a T28. Even then it would take "alot" of bolt-on mods, tuning that would push the motor near the edge, and a decent amount of race-gas or E85.

Thanks guys, 350whp is the max that i will go becase i really dont want to race. As you can see from my first few mods are to help me brake and turn better LOL. I just want a fast dd. I am also doing the path. I know i have a long was to go, i just want to know if i was on the right track. And i think my hid are just right, i dont blind anyone, and its a big differents. I know the t-28 may be my hold back from my max 350whp, but you can beat the deal if you had a big ass stick only $250. It a good up grade from what i read here. After i put in all the stuff i should have my fmic from vrs. Then after that comes the up the hood part starts because inside and out would be done. Anyway thanks for the help, and i will keep you posted, and do my homework.

unless you get into headwork/cams, i wouldnt expect more than high 200's @ the wheels from your current turbo. it'll still be plenty fun to drive.

I have done alo since i have been on this. i have drop it i got my fmic in today. I also putting on a type s bov. I have add so paint to the car. And now i am boosting 15 psi. Here are some pics.what do u mean by cheap also none of the things i have were cheap
