Im going to be purchasing some coilovers soon so I want to know wich of these to get along with them.
Which one do you run and why?
The prices seem pretty competitive with all these so I'm looking for input other than cost. Has anyone had more than one of these and decided to go with another (ie. maybe had an Ingalls set then decided to go with 3sx)?
3SX- http://www.3sx.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1454
Maximal Performance- http://www.maximalperformance.com/store/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=63
Ingalls- http://www.maperformance.com/ingalls-rear-camber-kit-1g-dsm-awd.html
TunersNation- http://tunersnation.com/ZenCart/ind...fo&cPath=227_634_635_636_637&products_id=1399
Also, who's using just the DME or Whiteline camber adjustment inserts?

What about build quaility and material construction? Would TunersNation control arm be the best because it's made from 4131 chromoly (don't know what the others are made of)?

I have the 3sx arms and they are very nice. The maximal arms are exactly the same just black instead of gold. I don't think the Ingalls use a heim joint. The tuners nation are just way too expensive. And don't even consider the whiteline eccentrics they suck!! I bought these to get my rear camber in line and they could not get me back to factory settings and I'm only lowered an inch. I say 3SX.

Good reviews on the Ingalls, what about the others? Anybody running the 3SX's control arms since they've been out for a while now? What about the new ones from Tuners Nation?

If you have any of these please give some input.

I've heard good things about the 3sx, and the other brand just like them. Tuners Nation's are the same thing as 3sx, just chromoly..
Maximal's comes with hardware.

From the pictures it looks like the only one without the hem joint is the Ingalls control arms. The 3SX and MaximalPerformance ones both look like they have them.

Would the hem joints be a plus or not?

I have a question, with the Ingalls arms you can replace the balljoint if it goes bad but on the SX arm and the others those don't look like they can be replaced easily if at all. That's what's making me lean towards the Ingalls. Can anyone shed some light?

I've had the Ingles arms on my car for 3-4 years now. Had them adjusted and haven't touched them. Kinda nice to greese the balljoint. I haven't seen any real issues with these besides seeing a boot go bad, but that was on an older set (someone elses car)

The ingalls arms are the only ones out of the bunch that have a bend to them like the stock arm, but with that being said you don't actually need the bend in the arm as the tire will hit the wheelwell before the arm hits. I've also heard that the ingalls arms will bend/break from a lot of side loading on the rear tires, think rally, autox.

The tunersnation ones are beefy as heck and well worth the money if you want the best or feel that you need all that strength.

The other two are off the shelf Afco parts that total about $100 and they charge you $50+ dollars to assemble them for you. :notgood: My favorite part about these ones is the LARGE amount of adjust ability and the fact that replacement tie rods are $11.

Hey look at the ones I made myself. They look familiar huh?

3SX- 3SX Adjustable Control Arms - AWD Twin Turbo Camber - Mitsubishi 3000GT / Dodge Stealth Parts
Maximal Performance- Maximal Performance - AWD Adjustable Control Arms
Ingalls- Ingalls Rear Camber Kit (1g DSM AWD) - Modern Automotive Performance
TunersNation- 89-94 Mitsubishi Eclipse AWD Rear Upper Control Arm [TN-CRUCA] - $349.89 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

The Ingalls you listed are priced at $95 EACH SIDE which in my opinion puts them near the bottom of the list right above the TunersNation kit ($350). The 3SX and Maximal kits are exactly the same and priced similarly at around $150 for BOTH sides/bars.

Personally, I have the 3SX kit and couldn't be happier. At the time of purchase I didn't know about the Maximal kit, but the prices are similar so it's no a big deal to me and I kind of like the gold color of the 3SX kit better. Since these bars all function the same, I would go with the one that costs less and spend the savings on something else. Good luck.

The 3SX ones are for VR4s so how do they work for a DSM?

They fit my 1g GSX like a glove. They were super easy to install and the alignment shop had no problems adjusting them.

Mine look exactly like the picture in post #19 above.
