I can launch well, on 205/50/16's, but the little "turbo" just runs out of steam after 2nd gear. Looking for better numbers next spring, with an EVO III16G, DSMLink, 2-step, an FMIC and some drag radials.

The pike, is pretty much dead for the season...too cold...there's a few people out, but nothing like it was in the summertime.
Go with the slicks! Not only will they cut your 60's but they help with wheel hop as well. I've had practically zero wheel with my slicks at the track. My time at the track this year flat out sucked.First time of the year I had old cheap everyday radials with open diff and was running my evo3 setup with meth injection at 22psi.I had severe wheel hop so i would have to let off and feather it until i hit third so i could hook, plus it was breaking up above 5k.(bad spark plug wires)The next time I went out i had just purchased some new toyo T1R tires and on the street they seemed to help.First run sucked ran a 14.9@107 with a 2.6 60ft(severe wheel hop)My next run I exploded my diff and it blew a hole in my trans and took the rest of it with it.
So I have since installed a kar king lsd and did a light build on the trans. Also did some prothane motor mounts.I have since changed my turbo set up so cant wait for next season. Here in utah the track does not reopen until april.I will be on slicks next year for sure.Hope to see some low 12s this time.I was dissapointed I did not get some slicks this year to see what my evo3 could put down cause it felt fast on the butt dyno.
