Hi i got this question on my mind....

I am wondering. What would be faster a GSX or a GS-t. Now i know GSX got AWD but it carries up to 300 pounds of extra weight. Now u can reduce weight but would it work>

The reason i am posting this topic, is because i'm still doubting if i should buy a gsx or gst.

The gsx is hard to get, and no-one will sell to me, because i live in Europe. or they wont answer my mails.

So please tell me, What will be faster, a gsx or gst.

The difference between which car is faster..is pretty minor. GSX will stomp a GS-T off the line and a GS-T will pull on a GSX on the highway.

But they're essentially still the same car. You will be marginally quick, owning either vehicle.

Off the line on a full drag race - The GSX will be faster. You get awesome 60' with the bite of an AWD car,

On the highway - The GST is faster with its lower weight and only the front wheels spinning. No center differential to worry about.

Im talking about stock forms of the car. With high-level mods, it can go either way.

Here is the simple answer to this often-asked question:
In stock form in the quarter mile, they are about the same. A lot of light to mildly modified cars are a driver's game. 60' and especially 0-60 times will always be AWD's. Here is what KILLS me about the question... If you want a car that has great potential for a quick quarter-mile car, the AWDs will get you there faster, cheaper and more realisticly. Just look at the faster cars on this or any other DSM site. If you want a car that will make a great mildly modified daily driver, then AWD is the answer again and here's why: Handling. AWDs will always out handls the FWDs. Don't get me wrong, driving a car with a lot of torque steer is exciting and lots of fun, it just doesn't have the same zeal that AWD does. To each his own, but take handling into consideration and determine if a great handling car that can launch hard is what you want, don't settle for FWD.
