Some smaller jobs that I’ve neglected. Swapped passenger side air bag for one that has less pealing, replaced passenger’s side mirror interior trim because it was cracked, and cerakote all the exterior trim.

Got my G64B home and starter stripping it. Came out of 1986 Galant.

Catch up post: Finally, after 3 years, I got the engine back in 2 days ago. Yesterday I finished installing my Snow Performance Water/Meth kit and installing my prettied rear diff cover with the new AO Customs precut silicone gaskets I ordered.

Today I ripped open my 4 transfer cases and proceeded to clean TF out of them with A LOT of brake cleaner. Ordered new O-rings and seals. (No pix)

The firewall and shielding. Is that stock? Looks really fresh!

More wire sorting, laying and ideas. Where the cutting begins is when I get into the headlight harness. I’m putting the harness into the intercooler and washer fluid bottle holes and the light harness from below. Maybe on the crossmember. Maybe in front of the core support.

No picture of finished product but I took these to send to Marty to show the progress. It was a lot of work but I'm still waiting on some parts to come in anyways so I went ahead and did it. I used die grinding carbide bits in a die grinder. The bits worked incredibly well and just ate through the material very easily. There was just so much material to take out though. I ported to match a 7cm gasket. The o2 housing needed quite a bit of gasket porting as well. I also ported the o2 housing enough to allow the flapper to open a full 90*.

A friend gave me his center console as it's the grey that the rest of my interior is. Sometime in this cars life it was replaced, probably damaged due to a stolen deck, but the replacement was that grey-blue
It's annoyed me since I took ownership and finally he rectified it for me today
Super stoked.

Simple stuff: replaced wipers and hatch struts on the Talon. Somewhere in the past the struts I'm replacing were installed with the cylinder end DOWN, much to the detriment of the plastics. Also spent some time re-organizing some of my fastener cards so they'll all fit in the same container.

Trying to clean these parts up before they go back on. I need to find some fine brushes for my dremel to get all the nooks and crannies. And I need to buy all new rubber.
