Looking good so far!

Finished putting the engine bay back together after cleaning/painting. Went for a drive afterwards.....ran out of gas. :ohdamn:

One of the hose ends between my rail and AFPR decided to seize up. The whole thing looked pretty rough so I decided to replace it. I went to a local place since the parts were cheap ($19 total) and seemed pretty decent. The hose is PTFE lined braided steel with some kind of rubber coating, and the fittings are coated black and swivel. I'm pretty happy with the end result. I'll be installing it today so we'll see how that goes.

With that said, I will never assemble PTFE hose ever again. At least not this kind. It was impossible to get the two halves of the fitting connected if the outer hose went a hair farther than the olive shoulder. The braids would get stuck between the threads and stop the socket from reaching the hose end. Next time I'll just get ProClassic stuff and be done in minutes rather than hours.

Still wrapping up the door trim and the bumpers. Purchased an unmolested full interior for street duty while I save up over the next year for the ridiculousness that is an LSR cage, 12 gallon coolant reservoir, fire suppression, etc.

Those are charging lugs for the battery, because its in an armor box LOL

This is an eclipse, but I actually like the talon front end from this model year. Suppose that doesn't matter though due to the aluminum mask I put on her..

Looks good Chris, cleaned up amazing. :thumb:

The pipes coming out of the hood... What are they? Biggest one is exhaust, right?

Can't believe this is the original paint. Looks too clean

Big pipe is 4" from the turbine outlet, the other two are wastegate dumps!

Not ported, just removing casting imperfections. It's smoother than the pic lets on baha.
