What are people doing for MD752981 nowadays?

It looks like MD752981, the gasket for the transfer case inspection cover, is gone for good. No USA stock, no Amayama. What are people doing nowadays for this -- gasket paper with a good sealant? Karropak should probably work, just curious if anybody's using something novel.

I just cut my own from gasket material.

Gasket paper will be your friend here. Just trace an old one on it and you should be good.

I was testing Karropak with a drop of some lightweight shockproof to see how much it soaked and it was a bit surprising how far it actually managed to soak in. That's why I was asking if there were other alternatives or innovations in this space.

I would seal it up with hondabond or the right stuff.

The Right Stuff's credentials look good for the purpose. That applicator, though.. dayum.

Hondabond or Permatex grey would work well.
