So this car I got is a 1991 and is all original. I was looking under the car yesterday evening and I have a pretty good oil leak coming from somewhere. Today after work I will probably spray all the oil off and try to pinpoint it. Would it make sense to just order a complete engine gasket set instead of tracking down parts individually. Also, I am doing numerous things to the car soon and will parts of the engine off so I would have gaskets for any part that may have a leak.

After a good cleaning, add some "oil dye" (parts stores carry it) to your oil (it doesn't take much of the little bottle) and then run the car for a minute, maybe 2. Shut her off and take a UV light and look for the dye that is Yellow/Greenish. It has been helpful to me.

Maybe it's your oil pan, which doesn't even use a gasket, just RTV.
Keep in mind a full OEM overhaul gasket kit, if you can find one, will have every seal, crush washer, gasket, and o-ring in both the top and bottom end. Including an OEM head gasket and turbo gaskets. It doesn't include any of the intake gaskets or o-rings besides the intake manifold to head gasket. This kit (MD974636) cost me $330 a year ago:
