2G Unknown oil leak from bolt hole to bolt the dipstick tube to the block

I have a 96 eclipse gst that I just installed a rebuilt 98 gst engine. Everything seems to be fine, but I see oil dripping off the oil dipstick tube bracket so I unbolted it and it kept leaking from the bolt hole. At least I'm thinking it's that bolt hole. I can't tell since its dripping between the block and the bracket that connects to the power stearing pump. Is it possible that oil is leaking out thru that bolt hole? If not, then where would the oil be leaking out from? Thanks

Spray brake parts cleaner there and look around. Could be a leaking bolt or a small crack in the block.

Thanks I'll try it, but I thought that when the machine shop rebuilt my engine they tested it. As well as they checked the block to make sure it's in good condition. I'm hoping it's a bolt. I was just wondering if anyone here had that problem before, and was able to tell me if it is possible that oil be leaking out thru that bolt hole

It could be possible the bolt goes all the way through the block. Put some silicone sealant on the bolt threads and thread it back in. Should stop the leak if that is where it is coming from.

That bolt hole DOES NOT go thru the block.

Clean it and see if you can find the leak. If you have to clean it drive it for 2 mins and check it. Find the leak first then look for solutions.

Thank you all. It happen to be that my aftermarket cam seals didn't work so I replace them with the oem .
