Doing work on my new gsx, running into all types of problems from the po, missing dowel pin, half broken starter cover, the list goes on but now I seemed to fine that the U bolt has been snapped off into the block of the engine. Any ideas on how to get this bolt out?

Man drill that thing with a drill bit small and work your way out anyway you can get it out, ez out that bolt if you can. doesn't look too bad ive seen worse but good luck with that sucks that its in the location it is and it being a important bolt in that area.

Get some cobalt bits to drill it. Standard black oxide bits will not work here. Neither will the titanium ones. The bolt and and easy out are both hardened steel. The bolt is definitely grade 8 or higher for sure.

Yep grade 8 looks like it would be easier to get that block out of the car that's just me, that bolt isn't that long either probably a inch left in there or so, did you tighten it too much.
