Would anyone happen to have the bearing nomenclatures for the bearings in the transfer case? So far i have the output shaft skf 32009x, i have the ntn 32008xst , thats all i can come up with. There is one or two im missing?

Im aware that jacks sell them, just like to find other vendors. At the end of the day there just bearings

If anyone would like the numbers or part#s send me a message. I completely rebuilt my case using koyo and ntn bearings.

My only question is how didnydid you get that big nut off behind the tail shaft? I couldn't do it
Go to harber freight, get yourself the largest adjustable you can find. I actually had to remove material from the one I purchased to make it fit. Then take the a driveshaft yoke and put it on the end of the shaft. I placed a long crowbar through the other end. You need to make sure you take a punch and push out the dimple of the nut on both sides. Then step on one side of the crowbar and torque off the nut.

You need to have the univeral joint in the yoke loose so u can put the crowbar through. So imagine the transfer case flat on the ground. You have the yoke on the end with the crowbar through it horizontally. YOu place your foot on the opposite end your not torquing and take the adjustable and torque the nut off.

I have a huge crescent wrench and a yoke with a 32mm nut welded on it. I get them off with my impact.
So u hold the nut and spin the shaft in reverse thus loosening the nut. Thats a good idea. My only concern was the shims, I just cross reference each bearing and was able to find most of the same used by mitsubishi...ntn and koyo etc. I just reused the shims in the case. What other choice do you have ?
