Motor Prelube System Could Save Your Motor!

Obviously not going to buy it, but the concept sounds valid.

anyone ever tried it? any comments?

If it works as claimed, then I believe it could have saved lots of people from crankwalk (clutch pressure on a dry thrust bearing)

It is just an Accusump knockoff. The concept is fine for protecting bearings on initial startup, but it is no where effective if you are pushing high rpm and toss an oil pump. You would surpass the reservoir volume so fast you couldn't even react to it happening.

It's only designed to protect on initial startup. I never thought about protection for oil pressure loss.

I was thinking of making something similar. Is there really that much wear on startup? or for our purposes, something else will fail first?
