Will the motor rest on just 3 motor mounts?

I want to take off the right motor mount where it meets the block on the timing side while I do a water-pump and oil pump, Oil pan is off so I cant use a jack, and my engine hoist is being borrowed.

Can I temporarily rest the engine and tranny just on the remaining 3 mounts?? Thanks.

It'll be fine. Was for me anyway.

I took off my driver side mount but I had a jack underneith the oil pan. Over night the jack lost pressure and lowered itself. So overnight it was on 3 mounts and was fine. I wouldn't keep it like that though but it should be fine short term.

It will be fine just as long as you leave the transmission mount on, or else it'll teetertot

same thing here will be fine but if possible get the jack
