23psi is pretty high on the little 14b..

Exactly! I know I have to be awful close to the ceiling where any more boost isn't going to help. I doubt I'll turn it up any more in interest of saving the poor little fellow. There are other things I can do if I need more power.

Moving the top ten here since it fell back 10 pages now. And because I do like seeing my name on there

Before I put the cams in, I saw a peak of 25.2 psi in 4th, dropping to 20 by 6k and 24 psi in 3rd dropping to 17.5 by 6k. With the S1s, I see 23 psi in 3rd, dropping to 16 by 6k with the same airflow numbers.

On another note, I picked up 2 more slicks and got them mounted on a new set of wheels (Drag DR-34s). I've got my AWD trans back from JNZ for a refresh, just need to drop it in and throw the 4 bolt back in and I'll be ready to rock again in AWD mode. I also want to get the rear toe elim kit welded in and find some more weight to remove to make up for putting the AWD stuff back in.

Lol I just removed my 14b to install the 7cm housing and when I took.it off I found this.
In my defense it was late when I installed it but that just shows how much attention I paid to it when I got it. -_-

That looks very nice! Just one small crack and it's already ported. It's a little black and sooty looking though, you might be running a little rich.

I bought it off ebay for 66$. Dude said he bought it for a project that never developed. Lol he told me shipping cost him 33$ too.

And yeah I'm running it just below fuel cut untuned right now. About 17psi. reason it runs rich up there. I turned the maf screw out some but still think it needs,alil more leaner.,

Great job Shane!!! Good to see you working up the list.

I came to update a little that I got my 14b all mounted up finally after screwing around with a couple crappy evo housings. Ended up just throwing on a b16g housing for now. Looks like for me everything's coming together and looking good for the 13th.

I also weighed my new skinnies compared to the 17" wheels on the back and I should be losing another 30lbs off the total car weight. I may be very close to the 2100lb total race weight.

Hey are you guys all running your coolant lines to the turbo?? Mine are capped off since my 6262 is only air cooled. Not sure if I wanna deal with the hassle.

Thanks Kevin! The season goes until the beginning of November but I'm done for the year. I can't expect to borrow slicks again and even if I did I think this clutch is on it's last leg. We'll come back out next year gunning if I can work up the funds!

He would certainly beat me, I routinely get 5-10 second reaction times, often the opposing car is nearly at the traps when I launch. (Auto)

I think you need a some practice, could probably cut that time down a little, no?
