1G TB Rebuild: Which seal do I have?

I am in the middle of rebuilding a 1g TB that I bought used. Not sure of any history of this TB. Anyway, I was about to remove the TB shaft and noticed the shaft seals didn't look like the stock rubber material. Do I have either a metal case or mil spec seals? Please see attached picture.

I have new rubber seals to put in but I don't want to downgrade if that makes sense. Anyone know of an easy way to pressure test the TB so I can make sure these seals are good to go? Thanks.
