DID they really screw a bunch of poeple w/mutt turbo? i was never a part of dsmtalk and i havent been around dsms long enuf to know about it. like that othe guy said, i would like to hear what bullseye has to say about this. :talon:

Then e-mail him or call him.

i would think the quality of the vender is directly related to the quality of the service and the quality of the service is directly related to the reason of purchase. check out what was said the the FIRST post.THE person who made this thread.

What is your experience with both these turbo's? I figured I would just get the one from bullseye because it is bigger and I would not hafto upgrade again later down the road, But i'm not exactly sure what to do. When it's all said and done, I will have one of these turbos, But I definatly need help to guide me to one or the other.

i think talking about the experiences w/ the venders has alot to do w/this turbo. eclipsegs he wanted help to guide him to the right turbo. i would guess that that might include info like a "ditch em" vender. now im not sure what bullseye has done because i havent researched YET but i dont think much of what nos was trying to inform us about was off topic. altho the way he said things sounded kinda rude AND it doesnt matter 2 shits what he thinks of the turbo, because hes never had it. BUT i think his doubts are totaly reasonable and i thank him for letting (or trying to) everyone know about the vender info. this MAY change my mind on getting the turbo. but ill have to get more info on the whole muttt turbo thing. peace.

Sounds like he is asking about 2 different turbo's not 2 different vendors.

related?? Yes. But like someone said, this is a Turbo discussion thread, Not a Vendor discussion thread. If you're not going to talk about the turbo itself, then please start your own thread or use PM and e-mail.....

Yeah, the person that is selling you the turbo has nothing to do with the experience. I take things too literal huh?

He asked for guidance of which turbo to choose, we are giving him guidance.

Either way people have posted, against the rules, to try and make a point, now let the discussion continue in peace.

If people cannot continue to follow our Posting Policies then I will start banning, I don't want to do that but people bring it upon themselves.

I'm not going to lock a good thread because other people jump in that can't follow the simple rules.

Hey, as Bullseye customer, and a DSM enthusiast, I would not want to see all the discussion realted to this squashed - as a matter of free speech.

I also understand that this thread should focus on the tubo performance and issues relating to installing it.

So I deliberately avoided talking about that in this thread.

So as a compromise, why not have a pointer to another thread where the reputation of Dave or Bullseye gets discussed. Those that are interested can go there. I know if such a thread gets started, I'll chime in with my experience.

with this turbo we are discussing Dave's reputation AND Bulleye's so no need to start a thread about a person. that is very rude. please, everyone just discuss the turbo, it is a great thread with tons of great info. I will and have been using this thread to to decide on which turbo to buy. the eIII16g or this v-trim.

What will happen if I put this turbo on a 2g, With the right supporting mods of course. I am going to be getting a 2g sooner then later being I sold all the mods off of my car, But I still have the turbo and if I can't sell it for the price i'm asking, I'll put it on the 2g.

So wait, your the one that started this pissing contest, and now after all the battles with moderators, and nobody really learning anything about these turbos, your just calling it quits and parting the car out???

Thanks! I needed that! Havent chuckled like that in a long time! :thumb:

Did you somehow miss this post?
Perhpas you posted without bothering to read what's been going on in this thread? :thumbdown
Or maybe you think you can overrule a moderator? :p

Again the topic is not a vendor discussion, it's a turbo discussion.

I wish you would just get banned already so nobody hasto put up with your useless post's anymore. No ''pissing contest'' was started by me, Nor am I giving up on my car. Everyone else is starting about how this is bad or thats bad. With no personal experience on this turbo. If you DO NOT have experience with this turbo, It's easy.. Do not post negative information about it.
I already did put the car back to almost stock, Why? Because most of my stuff would not fit on the 2g, Thats why. I'm going to build it up with all new parts eventually. I'm not ''giving up'' on anything. Thanks for the post though.

If I do not sell this turbo, I will keep it and put it on my 2g. If I do sell it, I'll buy one later on down the road, If everything will work out good. I asked because I know a few people with 2g's in this thread have this turbo.

2 things....

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DAVE>>> DEAL WITH DAVE, DONT POST THAT BS ON HERE!!! SECONDLY, GROW UP DAMN! I"M STARTING TO HATE THIS BOARD.....

If you look at the website they are selling for car manufacturers now. We are just a piece of the pie, so to speak....

Originally this post was about "choosing T04B or 16G".
Now it's about the turbo that he or she chose right? So who all has this turbo and why isnt your review on the Bullseye website? Still total reviews for this turbo 1. As far as I can tell it's been :thumb: for the T04B.

Most people still are in the off season so just give it time. I would of posted numbers LONG ago but my stock 7bolt went(oil drain broke) and i am in the process of doing a built 6 bolt just need a few more parts and i am set. So i would say 2 more weeks and i'll start posting a nice review with timeslips and pump 93 and race gas dynos to satisfy everyone. Plus dave will be present when i dyno so i can win that turbo challenge LOL :p

There should not be any nonsense on any thread. It's in the rules. I happen not to use the TO4b but I do use the bullseye turbine housings and they are the best casting I hve seen but I have only seen a dozen or so turbines. I just sold an RS49 from AGP turbo whih uses the Bullseye turbine. Nefore I bought the new RS60T from AGP I confirmed I would be getting the SAME Bullseye turbine or I would not have purchased it. Dave has offered info on many Garrett turbo's on this thread and shared a lot of info that has been useful to those of us who know about MHI turbo's but not garretts. Dave has also made good on replacing gaskets for free and other tings like exchanging actuators. Bullseye is where I buy my gaskets from rather than from AGP because I like the Bullseye style gasket.
The issue with DSM's as I see it is that because they are so plentiful anyone with a couple grand can buy a car that has a turbo so we get a wide mix of guys around here which can be a good thing. Can be bad also. Keep the remarks like you would while speaking to family, afterall we are a family of sorts. I always look at the site I am frequenting as a club. Like a brotherhood. I am here to learn. I had owned Conquests/Strions the fathers of the DSM'a and www.starquestclub.com is a great club wih little bickering. It's a club where guys can learn an with the quests 2.6l forklift notor it takes some innovative work to get a quick running quest. Please keep this site a learning place. thanks, mark

I have the v-trim. It looks great. Unfortunately, I wont have any experience with it running on the car for another 2 months. Spring is right around the corner; there will soon be many reviews and #'s for it. :thumb:

I also have this turbo. Currently its snowing up here so within 1-2 months it will be on. Im waiting on a few supporting mods, only 2 left to get, then it will be on and will have some great numbers to post.

I just need to find a dyno near niagara falls, ny

Until you test it dont doubt it.

This is a turbo discussion not a vendor discussion. I removed people posts who have no experience with this turbo.

If a vendor happens to make a certain product that we are discussing, isn't it pertinent to know about the vendors business practices, reputation, and ability to stand behind their products? Or should we just go and say "yeah, the Daewoo was a cheaply built car. It performed like it was priced. However, I now have issues with the car, and where is Daewoo? No longer in the market." I'm just saying, it's happened with turbo vendors in the past, and it just so happens this particular vendor fits that description.

And if we only allowed people that have "experience" with this turbo (meaning they own it???) that would leave out a LOT of knowledgable folks out of the discussion. Tons of people out in the automotive world know about Daewoo, however, if only Daewoo owners were allowed to comment about the product, it would leave for a very short discussion.

I'm not arguing, and this post will probably get deleted anyways, because it carries somewhat of a negative connotation, but oh well. As many have said in here before, as well as the moderator himself, "let people get ####ed over and learn for themselves". Seems to be a great motto to live by. Good to see we are looking out for our fellow DSM brothers.

I thought you left this thread already...
