I'm assuming you had a dogbox, may I ask is it for sale??? Lol car floats like a bee!!! Lol

Being safe isn't a bad thing. Also that cage is completely solid.

No and thats why I went to a 25.4 cage, but al this exta weight isn't helping me at all. Time to get creative! :sneaky:

I guess I would have to look at 25.4 rules, but I know for a 25.5 chassis in Minnesota the 2nd cross bar for the main hoop would have to be a little lower, and the inner funny car bar would have to go down to the 2nd cross bar for the main hoop, but as long as it gets the sticker you are good to go.

No they don't I built it to the letter of the 25.4 and with a nHRa tech there for guidance Lots of people have said this bar has to be like this or can't have a bend etc. unless it specifies it in the SFI specs it not a rule.

Been working all summer now time to get the Talon back up and running for spring stay tuned!

Machined some reducers to reduce 1 5/8ths Chrome Moly tubing down to one 1'' for the front rad support and rear supports. The front rad support is then being held in place by aero quality quick pins as will be the front trans mount! {thumbup}

Picture of the reducer Tig'd in place on the front frame support, the stock front frame rail is still being used to just past the front subframe :)

So got a package in the mail from Justin over at Comp Turbo and I thought my last 74mm triple ball bearing turbo was amazing, made 1000hp at 35Psi and spooled up easily on my 2.3L. Well this new turbo puts that turbo back 10 years this thing is a piece of art! Billet wheel!, Billet center section with triple ball bearings, V - bands on all connections, tap turbo drain hole! Thanks again Justin you truely out did yourself again can't wait to see what kind of power this thing is going to make :) Been running Comp Turbos since they were ITS with 100% satisfaction and zero failures and amazing performace!!!!

Jesus that thing looks like a monster!

I am afraid to see the price tag of that bad boy, along with spool times!

Price is cheap compared to alot of the rebadged truck turbos being sold and spool is actually pretty incrediable for a large turbo, no data yet but my old Comp made over 1000whp at only 35psi no nitrous and would hit 30psi in first easliy just off the two step :hellyeah:
