Ok so I put in new spark plugs, new wires, changed the oil, put in dry gas, added fresh gas, got a new battery and the car wont start. Sometimes only the starter engages, sometimes it cranks, and then occasionally it fires up for a second. I talked to some people and they believe it is fuel but when I went to change the fuel filter their was fuel coming out of the fuel rail. I believe it is the crank position sensor or crank angle sensor as it is called for dsm's. But tomorrow I am gonna do a compression check and try spraying gas in the intake manifold. If I get nothing then i am gonna be 75% sure its the CAS, but I was wondering if anybody else has any ideas. Thanks

Check out your Coolant Temp Sensors. Make sure they're good and have no cracked, brittle, or broken wires. They will cause start up issues if they are bad.

Yea I kno I have to test it, I just need to find a DMM that doesn't suck aka Autozone and Advanced Auto.

But where is the coolant temp sensor on dsm's

Also remember that just because there is gas at the filter, regulator, or injectors, does not meen there is enough fuel pressure. Check the pressure. Also, pull the plugs again for inspection. Are they fuel fouled? Are they white in color. Both good indicators of what part of the equation you are missing.

Well upon further review of the timing marks I realized that it was 180 degrees out of time... The guy said he thought he blew a rod, which explains the new timing belt. So now I get to yank my engine out and start my build earlier then expected.:thumb:
