Starting over my learning

Okay im starting over completely with working on and modifying cars. I feel like i know alot about cars but i also feel like its a bunch of random shit that i know. Im overwhelmed with all the information im reading in the tech faqs so im asking can someone please help me start over completely?where should i start learning?

HUH??? You can't just unlearn every thing you already know, and start over, just focus on one thing at a time till you feel you know everything on that subject I.e. engine mechanical, or fuel system, drivetrain, your just overwhelmed focus on one thing at a time. Or better yet go to school to be a tek .

im not unlearning everything but i want to start over and with what i already know ill be able to move through most stuff quickly but i dont know where to start

Start mechanically. Depending on the platform of engine. Get yourself a manual. It's the best way to start assuming you already know the importance of torque specs/order.

Once you get your manual read through from chapter to chapter till you know it by memory. That's sort of what I do. Except not all the information is in the book. That's where DSMTuners comes in.
