Hey guys I was hoping that you guys running slim fans could post some pictures of your slim fan setup... Also post how efficient they are. I am looking for some fans for my oem radiator I am not sure what size to get as sell as push or pulled type. Thanks for the help guys.

So you AC fan did not fit but the bigger plastic one did? If the bigger fan fit then the thinner AC should fit! My big fan is touching my tranny cooling pipes and is very close to my lower intercooler pipe, but I tested the AC fan and it gave me some more room and it was not touching them anymore, and thats why im now going to run 2 AC fans,

If you got the big fan in there then the AC fan will fit for you as the plastic fan is more likely going to hit anything compared to the smaller AC fan. I just cant see how it wont work??

Unless the surround is shaped differently

Yes the only thing blocking the bigger fan was my wastegate. My other fan might fit with some trimming. Here's some pics to show more of what in talking about. The bottom half of the A/C fan hits the lower intercooler pipe. You can. See the space for the other fan the wastegates just in the way.

yeah i see, is it the part that draws air to the ac motor thats hitting it? the bit that sticks out of the ac fan

Yes it's the shroud that's hitting the pipe.. It might fit if I trim it down!

yeah trim it down and use that fan, it will be better and hopefully free a small bit of room for you. hope you get it sorted
