Are there any decent slim fans on eBay these days (that you have experience with), or are they all still mostly junk?

I'm looking for inexpensive alternatives for 2-12" pusher fans...so they won't have to stand up to as much heat as they would in a puller configuration.

My new radiator core height is 13" between the tanks, and the old slim fan I have is 14" tall . So I might as well go with two slightly smaller pusher fans and stick them in front of the radiator to give more room and cut down on the heat they see...since I no longer have A/C to deal with.

Im running 4 slim fans and they work perfectly. I wire up a Bosch relay so that they stay on permenantly. Two on the inside are drawing fans and the two on the ouside are pushers. I too have my AC removed. I would go with the 12'' fans they work wonders.

I bought two 12" slimlines from eBay months ago. I wasn't too impressed with them... they definitely didn't move anywhere near as much air as the stock fans did. However, without A/C, they kept my car cool enough when I tested them. I ended up swapping them back for stock though and selling them - they were pretty poor quality build-wise and I didn't want to chance them breaking on me when I needed them.

Here's the pair I bought - I got them for $50 for both of them though.

Those look similar to the pair I found and thought looked pretty good LOL

Here are the ones I was (am?) considering.

I don't have A/C anymore, so hopefully cooling won't be as much of an issue. I was planning on running them both when the temp kicks them on, probably off of a dedicated relay and in a pusher configuration to keep them away from turbo heat.

The two 12 inch godspeeds that came with my aftermarket radiator have been very good so far. The only issue I have had with them is i had to hard wire everything. The power lines to battery, to a toggle switch in cab, and ground wire to main ground on body. They also move alot more air then the stock fans ever did. They actually vibrate the car a little when they are on.
