1G Short Shifter for 90

If you look back at some of my threads, you will see what it looks like installed.

I’m looking for the best options for new shifter for my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI

One option is to just put a 2G shaft knob on. It winds up being quite different than the long 1G knob.

You can cut and weld the stock shifter.

The 1990 shifter is the only one that has a built in shift stop (and I kind of like that), I would keep and alter it or do like Steve said (and what I do), put a 2g knob on it.

Left is JNZ short shifter for 90. Right is the stock 90 shifter. It's a real short throw shifter.

The stock shifter is pretty darn short with a 2g oem knob. Not worth the energy in my opinion.

I run the jnz tuning short shifter! I think it helped a lot!! And still run the 1g knob! It feels and shifts great!

Miller imports is a great place to source the 3k shifter! He shipped it directly to jnz for me!
