SD setup help

I ordered the sd bundle from ecmlink with the plug n play sd cable a while back. Finally hooked map sensor up, followed all instructions on link website for setup, but car wont start. Only way it will start is if in mafcomp tab i set base maf to "stock" I dont have stock maf hooked up anymore as The plug n play sd cable uses the stock maf plug. Need help quick, thanx

Post a log so we can see all your settings. Also I would download this PDF and follow it, http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-tuning-ecu/395564-how-tune-1g-v3-sd-ecmlink-no-maf.html. It shows you haw to set it up step by step. It's what I followed and it worked great.

does anybody use the sd cable from ecmlink? To my understanding and what was explained to me by them is there is no "wiring to pin" on the ecu for the map sensor as stock pins are used. So i think its the whole wiring issue thats making things difficult as i can find no info at all about their sd plug n play cable.

my pc ecu side-MDP-omni 4 bar map
ecu side-Manifold pressure(MDP)-MDP
map type-omni 4bar

all other settings set to sd, fuel sliders have since been 0'd (not in log)

After 5min of idle tune and a 15 min drive for cruise log and tune, I'm ready for WOT tomorrow and to the shop to get my IAT bung welded on. I should have switched when I first bought the package 8 months ago, way easier IMO to tune and the pesky backfire problem I had is now gone. Thanx for the quick and dead on replies fellas, appreciate it-Gary

No actual Wiring is needed, you just choose the location for your MAP/IAT and plug them in and configure them on the ECU side and then the Laptop Side.

SD is awesome, Not having a MAF is even more awesome!

No, you do it all on the laptop. You have to tell the ECU where the MAP and IAT are and assign them the correct pins.

I love the SD set up and the cable from ecm made install a snap. You dont have to wire anything to any pins on the ecu (unless of course it is your first time wiring up a wideband to log) Your maf plug that would plug into your stock maf sensor plugs into the ecm SD cable along with the IAT. Its straight up plug n play. The rest of the set up is done as stated above, make a few changes in ecmlink settings on your lap top and your done. I highly recommend it.
